The Hawkeyes last claimed a division title in 2015 when they finished the regular season with an unblemished 8-0 record in Big Ten play and went on to play Michigan State in the Big Ten Football Championship Game. The Hawkeyes’ victory, coupled with Minnesota’s 23-13 win over Wisconsin on Saturday, gave Iowa the outright West Division title and a spot in the Big Ten Football Championship Game for the second time in program history. Iowa defeated Nebraska, 28-21, on Friday to improve to 10-2 overall and 7-2 in conference play.
